BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
START A R.I.O.T. - RIGHTEOUS INVASION OF YOUTH
What would you think if I said, “Living a life for Christ is not about how we look, what we do, or what we do not take part of. Living for God is so much more about living in unity with each other.”
Romans 14:17-19 “For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy (righteousness) in the Holy Spirit. If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please God. And other people will approve of you, too. So then, let us aim for harmony in the church and try to build each other up.”
So the question for the day is, "When you think of righteousness do you think of it as an individual act or as something that involves other people?" Answer this in the comments section.

I think of it as something that involves other people. In my opinion that only way you really can do somethng righterousness is if you do it towards another person.
Righeteous. I think it's an equal vote. I mean , it's individual becasue you can be alone with God and still do something right with him. Also it could be something that involves people, like not doing something that's wrong with people who do , well . . .bad things. Also if your just anywhere with anbody , you still can be righteousness. Um, so again its 50 / 50 . You can be righteous anywhere, anytime, with yourself or somebody.
when i think of righteousness i think of it as individual and involving other people because its individual when YOU are chosing what YOU do to be righteous but it involves other people because you can choose to be righteous with other people as well: sorta like nonchristians!
I think it is very important that you have friends or family that you can count on to make you accountable. It also helps when you see someone else do the right thing in a tough situation. Righteousnes might be something you do as an individual but the world becomes a better place when more and more people practice it.
If you want to be righteous, I think it is an individual act you choose. If you want to have good morals, then you have to first set your standards. If you decide to remain abstinent till your married, then you have to make your vow yourself, others can't make that decision for you. But then others play a role either being a positive influence or a negative. And if they're being negative you get the chance to be righteous and stand up for your personal morals and make them public.

I agree with churchgirl one this one, it' an equal vote for me to. You Can be by yourself and do right with God, or it could be something that involves other people, like she said, not doing soething wrong with people who do bad things.
Well I think its a little bit of both; I definitely belief that in order to be righteous we need to be right with God and do the right thing. So when I think of righteousness I think of it as an individual act, like when you finally admit to yourself that what you did was wrong and you ask for His forgiveness, and of it involving other people.
