What does a breastplate protect, why would it be important?
Why do you think a soldier would wear a breastplate?
Since righteousness means you are living in a way to become right with God, why do you think the breastplate would be a visual example for righteousness?

Woot! I get to post first! Ok, back to reality.
Well, I think that in order to be more like God we need to follow his instructions, no matter how fiece the temptation may be.
I agree with jeff, to be more like God following His instructions is one of the best steps you can take.
Um, I think what we need to do to become more like God is probably a new attitude. A positive and Godly attitude. Also do what God wants you to do, or obey. Like follow his comandments. Maybe, do what God does. He is being righteous, caring, loving, strong. Also worshiping. Simple. Those are just some things, there's MORE.

I believe you need to worship God daily by reading the Bible, praying, and prasing him. I think you also need to keep away from anything that does not glorify God.
i think to be more like God you need to read the bible and follow what he says to do and always remeber

Follow what he sais in the Bible. Also ask what He wants you to do. Even if His response isn't what you were planning on or wanted to hear!
