WARRIOR GOD
What do you think of when you think of war?
What are words you think of when you think of God?
As you read these verses keep in mind David was a man who followed God with all of his heart. The Bible says “He was a man after God’s own heart.” Try to picture God in the way David describes Him.
Psalm 35:1-3 “O LORD, oppose those who oppose me. Declare war on those who are attacking me. Put on your armor, and take up your shield. Prepare for battle, and come to my aid. Lift up your spear and javelin and block the way of my enemies. Let me hear you say, ‘I am your salvation!’
What character qualities do you see about God in these verses? (personality, nature, basically who is God)?
Have you ever thought of God as a warrior? Why or why not?
David asked God to go to war for Him, how would you feel about asking God to go to war for you?
If God, the creator of the universe—angels, demons, nature, people—needs armor, how much do you think you need God’s armor?

my life would be crazy and very scary but @ the same time i would feel safe cuss God is always ther for me!!!!

I think it would be a great way to stand true in God if you were always wearing his armor. I mean wouldn't that really display your trust in him. So like becca said it would be a little hectic sometimes, but you would always feel secure in the arms of the lord.

I think that my life would be great.But if your always wearing the armor of god,there would be no time were you will make decision that could effect your life forever.That is just what I think.
If I was always ready for battle... hmm. Well, I think I'd feel safer, both in every day life and when it came time to fight; I think we all like to feel like we're ready for what the world has to throw at us. In order to Be ready for spiritual war, unlike physical war, we NEED Gods help; if we try to fight against the demon of the world on our own, we may earn a few short-term victories, but in the end we will lose. But with God on our side, we can be ready for anything.
I think having God in your life gives you that peaceful confidence/ security that allows you to keep the big picture in mind when you have to battle the things that come up in everyday life.
i think if i was always ready for the battle my life would be to easy.
i mean i would feel safe under God's protection and everything but it would be easy if u knew the troubles that lie ahead.
There would be no suprises in my life and no excitement!!
